Dannii Minogue Style Queen Launch

Last night Foxtel held a fabulous launch of Dannii Minogue's new reality TV documentary series Dannii Minogue: Style Queen at one of Sydney's top restaurants ARIA.
The reality series follows Dannii and her best friend/co-designer Tabitha Somerset Webb as they embark on their journey to design and create their own fashion line, Project D. We were given a sneak peek of the show and it looks great. I can't wait to watch it, especially after meeting Dannii and Tabitha who are so gorgeous, down to earth and hilariously funny! The S word and the F bomb were dropped within the first 30 seconds of them holding the microphone!!
I was dressed, along with three other models in an array of gorgeous Project D dresses, all very classic and comfortable to wear, and enjoyed the delicious food provided by celebrity chef Matt Moran which was seriously yummy!
Dannii Minogue: Style Queen airs on Fox8 on February 23rd.

FACT: When I was little, apparently I loved Danni when she was on Young Talent Time so much that I asked my Mother to change my name to Dannii!

Last night I hosted the media launch of the new Nespresso boutique in Sydney's Pitt Street Mall with fellow hosts Teigan Nash and Laura May. I wore a custom made Bowie Wong black sequin gown with a special head piece made entirely of Nespresso capsules by milliner Reny Kestel.
Guests including Miranda Otto, Peter O’Brien, Carla Zampatti, Anneliese Seubert, Camilla Freeman, Ruby Smallbone, Rodger Corser and Jackie Frank made their way on the red carpet to the Nespresso media wall where they had their photo taken with us (the hosts), then were treated to a dance performance choreographed by the fabulous Squared Division and models including Samantha Harris walked through the crowd wearing dresses made from Nespresso capsules!

Mont Blanc Metamorphosis event Beijing

Last week I flew out to Beijing, China for the huge and I mean huuuuge Mont Blanc event celebrating the launch of the Metamorphosis watch. Here's the breakdown of my day to day blog.

Day 1:
I arrived in Beijing after a long flight and almost no sleep. A huge group of us arrived one after another, performers brought in from all over the world and we were taken to our hotel on a big bus. I spent the evening chilling in the hotel room.

Day 2:
We had the morning off so it was time for some sightseeing. We headed to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City! It was amazing and bigger than you could ever imagine! The Forbidden City just kept going and going and going. We walked all the way through and then up the long stairs to the Jingshan Park where I dressed up as an Empress which was fun! The acrobat boys from PopEyed dressed up as Emperors and did some acrobatic moves for the cameras too!

In the afternoon we headed to the venue to check out the stage and have a quick rehearsal. The event was to be held at the 798 art district in Beijing inside a massive old water tank.

Day 3:
In the morning we headed to the markets and had a look around before we headed to the venue for a technical rehearsal and press call. We performed our show for the constant stream of press who came to photograph and film the performers before the big event the following evening.
That night a group of the Australian performers and I had a yummy dinner at a restaurant around the corner from the hotel and ended the night with some bowling! It was lots of fun and I even scored a few strikes!!

Day 4:
Today we went to the Great Wall of China! We were all so excited and it was so amazing! We caught the chair lift up the wall and the toboggan ride down the wall to try and preserve some energy in our legs before the show that night. The toboggan ride was soooo fun!! We went faster than we were probably allowed to but it was awesome. The Great Wall looks steep but it's way steeper than you think it is! I had jelly legs!! It truly was amazing to see.

The Mont Blanc Metamorphosis event was such an amazing event. As guests arrived they walked the red carpet then were ushered in to the Typhoon room where they were entertained by models body painted black with fluro patterns and fluro butterflies which lit up under the special black light, aerialists, pole performers and contemporary dancers dressed in hooded black and white unitards surrounded by mirrors. When the doors finally opened the guests including Nicolas Cage entered the main room where the walls inside the huge water tank were lined with 3D projected graphics which were absolutely incredible, a bar which ran around the entire edge of the wall and various performances by aerialists, acrobats, dancers, the Blue Man Group who were fantastic and myself performing contortion! There were thousands of people there and we partied long in to the night drinking Moet and cocktails!

 Day 5:
Super early wake up this morning to catch my flights back to Sydney. It was a struggle but some good movies on the plane always make long flights feel much faster. I arrived home early Monday morning after a whole day and night of travel and crashed in to bed for the whole day! I was exhausted but my China experience was unbelievable!!

Cozi by Jennifer Hawkins & Myer summer launch

Yesterday was Myer's Get ready for summer launch featuring swimwear from Jennifer Hawkins label Cozi at the Myer city store in Sydney! We did a similar fashion show earlier in the year for the Obsidian lingerie launch. It was a long day but lots of fun and I loved the swimwear, beautiful colours!

Here is the video of the fashion show featuring my beautiful friends Ame Delves, Sarah Jane Coombe, Katie McMahon and myself!

Princess Yasmin Launch

Just landed back in Sydney after my performance at the Princess Yasmin launch at Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast in Queensland. I flew in yesterday morning and checked in to my hotel room at the casino hotel and was straight in to hair and makeup.
The launch was held up in the penthouse and I performed on top of a white piano surrounded by high end designer goodies before the guests who included Gold Coast socialites and the casino's high rollers.
After my performance I spent the evening in my hotel room watching movies and ordering room service!
I was up bright and early this morning to catch my flight back home as I have to get ready for my Sydney shows tonight!

Last night was the launch of the Pussycat Dolls Shhh lingerie line at Crystal Bar in Sydney. The event was really fun and the room was absolutely PACKED! I opened the show with a contortion solo in my swarovski encrusted catsuit which was followed by a fashion show featuring model Laura Dundovic, former Australia's Next Top Model contestants Lola Van Vorst, Rebecca Jobson and Adele Thiel and actress Gracie Otto. Plus choreographer Brandon Barton was flown out from the US to choreograph a modern burlesque inspired dance routine.Guests at the event included Ashley Roberts from the Pussycat Dolls who was really lovely and nice, Frankie Delgado from TV show The Hills, American band Carney, Ruby Rose who was there filming with MTV, Didier Cohen, SYTYCD contestants, Australia's Next Top Model winner Tahnee Atkinson, Bra boys and the list goes on!After the show we all sat in the VIP room drinking champagne and having fun! I wore my favourite new Sass and Bide dress with metal appliqués and my Marc Jacobs handbag. The lingerie itself was really nice and comes in lots of different styles from animal prints to stripes, to corsets and cute ruffles. Can't wait for my little gift bag full of lingerie to arrive so I can try it all out!
