So have people settled down to using this more, or Public Radio Tuner more, or both/neither? PR Tuner was amazing in 1.x and now 2.0.1 is a steaming pile of disaster. It crashes a lot, it takes a long time to load up and start streaming music, and if I turn it on and start streaming my music, then lock the phone and put it in my pocket and put my gloves back on, it inevitably crashes or stops playing for some reason and I have to take my gloves back off outside in the cold and futz with it.
I hadn't gotten around to trying this one, but I'm going to finally give it a try. It's sad, because PR Tuner really was close to perfect before they started adding all the new features.
But OTOH, why does NPR News have such a low avg rating?

Hi, i would like to know if anyone here successfully got windows 98 running under bootcamp. I must run some old software for research purposes so any help would be appreciated!
I own a late 2009 macbook.
Thanks
I know in 7 that you can select properties for that program and tell it to run as what system you want. Have you tried that?

"Electronic Device Having Display and Surrounding Touch Sensitive Bezel for User Interface and Control"
They should keep this name. It's catchy.
Hah! Brilliant. Very much like what could only be described as the best movie title in the last half-century: "Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan".

you really don't need to know anything of folding with mc68k script, or of the Terminal. I was the same as you, didn't knew anything about both subjects. And I got it to work! The only thing you have to do is double click the installer and then type in Terminal your username and teamnumber and answer some other question that you have to answer with every folding app. You can see if it works if you open the activity monitor. You can see that the app folding/FAHcore is using a fair amount of cpu power.

Yeah, it looks nice but I'm a bit bored of the genre now. I loved Air Combat on the PS1 but I tried to get back into it with the newer games and eh, looks like I'm not missing out on much.
Joint Assault on the PSP looked brilliant and reminded me a lot of Peace Walker (probably my fave game of 2010) but it just wasn't fun to play.

why do you want to use asp.net and take the extra cost in sql server and windows 2003...
The main reason is that I already have a lot of .NET code that could be useful for web development. I'm not using windows or sql server though. I'm trying out Mono's ASP .NET and I've already ported some of my code to Mono and to MySql. But in spite of this, I don't have much experience with web apps so I would feel much better if I could take a look at what other people have already done. I have decent-enough skills to build the shopping cart, but I've no clue about security issues, so that I would like to learn.

Sorry, a very poorly constructed sentence. I meant that MacWrite and MacDraw were present in the "all original disks and cassette tapes" (hence my use of two 'and's in that sentence I'd mentally turned them into a single item).
I turned down the $1000 Mac on the basis that without having any idea how much the item should cost, it was unlikely I'd chance upon the correct price like this, and I'm not so interested in owning one that if $1000 turns out to be well below average then I'll be forever regretful.
For the record, I've recently seen one go on eBay with no boxes, the original floppy drive broken (but an external one provided for booting, etc) go for a little over 600 and there's currently one on eBay without boxes but fully working and exceptionally unaffected by time, with an external floppy drive with a buy-it-now price of $775.

I'm freakin sick of the ITMS.
I love iTunes and my iPod, but purchasing music that can only be put on an iPod is crap. There may be a better player out later which I want to go to and then *poof* my ITMS purchased tracks are crap.
www.allofmp3.com
It's (significantly) cheaper.
It's better.
'Nuff said.
AllofMP3 is exactly how all music selling sites should be. The possibility to choose exact what quality you want is great, no DRM is great, the price is of course also great.
If only the artists would get paid it would be perfect.

Maybe they'll make a patch to make diddy kong the glorious game it once was....strip out all the gimmiky DS stuff.
I'd like to see scalable games take advantage of both and let you play and move save files around. To me that'd be the top thing....so I could play a season on Fifa (if the Wii ever gets Fifa or Winning) and then take it on the road with me too..all games count towards my overall season...not two different seasons going. Would give people more of a reason to buy two versions...

Apple doesn't put on Macworld. There used to be two Macworlds, one in SF in Jan. and another on the East Coast in the summer. The Boston show disappeared a few years after Apple stopped going to that one. The WWDC is now Apple's summer event.
More precisely, the Boston show moved to New York City. After September 11, they people behind the show wanted to move it back to Boston and Apple refused to participate for some reason.

It is exactly the same. I even tried putting my iMac on the DMZ in my router to see whether a totally exposed machine helps, but not so.
You are running a Apple router and I am running a Linksys with the stock firmware. I will screw around a bit more in both my mac and the router and see whether I can sort something out and keep you guys posted.
Disable the VPN server software then reboot your mac and enable the software, then test connecting.
